Get Involved - as a Volunteer

Volunteering for Greenpower is a great way to get involved with the project. Depending on your interest and time availability, you can volunteer for a single event in your locality or can be a regular volunteer for all the events in your locality.

You don't need to have any prior experience to become a volunteer. A typical Volunteer's job is to help us in all the activities in the race arena .We have our primary school age Goblin days and the more serious F24 and F24+ race days and we are always looking for help for both types of events. To see what is happening near you please view our website or contact us.

If you are an engineering college student, you can also volunteer to teach STEM and share your experiences with School students.
We also have opportunities for those who have more time to give. As an educational charity, we are always looking for potential mentors to go into schools or groups and help with their builds. Many schools lack the staff or knowledge they feel they need to take part in Greenpower and we hope by having mentors you can help us tackle these barriers.

As a Greenpower volunteer you will enjoy the opportunities we have to offer and potentially gain valuable experience with us.

If you would like to get involved in Greenpower as a volunteer or want to find out more about what opportunities we have to offer please get in touch.

Volunteer involvement also helps us to deliver part of our mission:-
'To link education, industry and community through inspirational engineering projects' In return you will become part of a team helping to deliver innovative and educational projects helping to inspire the engineers of the future If you want to get involved in volunteering contact us.
